Starring Lynn Petra, Phoenix Ashton, Oatmeal Sandmoore, and Ed.
The clothes she's wearing in this picture are actual clothes I actually have (aside from the fact that I removed the Tennesse Titans logo.) I thought they fit her better, by which I mean, fit her less.
Made for the Christian Tumblr OC Tournament.
Like I said before, Ed probably isn't that small. I iterated over a tall design until I wound up on the colored one on the far right. Also made him yellow. I don't remember exactly why, I think it's that the green I used was too bright, but I like it now.
Also this is the first drawing I'm uploading with my new drawing-uploading script! I'm never manually generating thumbnails and typing filenames again!! Yippee!!!
Girl is spent. Eyes open but not in use kind of tired. Can't walk the 29 feet to get to the next radish kind of tired. Visible eye bags even though her face is covered in fur kind of tired. Seepy.
Lynn and Ed drawn in a pitiful resolution. Oh yeah also, they both live in Lexington, Kentucky before they move up to South Dakota.
Saw a drawing of a rodent and decided I should improve my own rodent because I have not been satisfied with his design for a while now. I tried a bunch of different ear styles the only way I knew how. I looked at squirrel Pokemon for reference. The colored design, on the far right, is the one I settled on, quite clearly, but he's probably not that small.
I've tried drawing Lynn with hair like a normal catgirl before but it has not turned out as well as this one. I don't think I'll keep the design - the old one is easier to draw and I think more recognizable - but it was still lots of fun drawing this.
We got some Lynn on the left and mostly Oats on the right. You can see I've resorted to just handing my entire wardrobe over to Lynn, and also some no-hat Oats. The guy on the far right is not Oats, and I imagine him to be her little brother, Milk.
She is borrowing my Tennessee Titans shirt while I think of a way to make her other shirt look better.
I was figuring out how to do comic stuff and wrote "girl I am" and "I am going to the walmar do you want anything" and then my brain autocompleted it from there. That's Lynn's brother Ethan, by the way.
I think I did a good portrayal of the experience of going out to Walmart at two in the morning.
Oats making that sound again and also petting one of the sheep she farms (she farms sheep.)
I tried giving her a banana bandana. I should probably draw her whole entire body with it.
Made Nic's head an oval and put his eyes on the side of his head to make him shaped more like a rabbit.
I made Oats's head longer to make her more sheep-shaped.
I drew these guys real small and tiny. I wanted to see the major aspects of their designs boiled down I guess.
She says that. She makes that sound.
Mammal Cosine used to be an Animal Crossing fanfiction starring Animal Crossing characters, mostly because I found the idea of a fanfiction which has nothing to do with the source material hilarious, before I decided to replace everything with original stuff. The plot was wackier back then, too: each of those symbols represented an alchemical element the character would gain power over and eventually embody, at which point they would have to fight an evil wizard who ascended to divinity and stole magic from the world thousands of years ago. Or something, I never got a concrete idea of what the plot was.
