Honestly one of the best parts about Pokemon is that the guys are really fun to draw. Most of my earlier drawings were of Pokemon, in fact.
Pokemon, Pikachu, and all other Pokemon characters are © 1995-2023 Nintendo, GAME FREAK, and Creatures Inc. No infringement is intended.
I took an old scribble of a Chikorita, then gave it color, an outline, and a gradient background, like what I did with Brain Moment down below. Turned out okay, and I guess it proves that it doesn't have to be hard to finish a drawing.
Wanted to play with a dithered gradient so I drew an Espurr having a Brain Moment. Basically just took a messy scribble and threw a background and outline at it.
For one of the anonymous benefactors who got me new drawing tablet, which I used to make this. Technically I did some minor changes without it but that's not important.
That's Latin for will or desire or whatsoever. Because he's the wishy guy. I like how the lineart and colors turned out.
I've greatly taken a liking to scribbling things down in like five seconds as of late.
I drew this rat on one layer with an aliased brush, so it's kind of like using MS Paint.
An Espurr and two wet dogs drawn in a way that I have struggled severely with before. This time, I used a whole lot of layers, and that made it so much easier.
Saw some cool Brionne images and finally found a way to draw its ruffles that I like.
Bug :)
Messing around with this Litwick's hair.
Captain's friend, a shiny Horsea. Lives in the water, obviously.
Came up with this idea of a Shinx named captain and scribbled her. She's cool.
Funky little rat with huge fire hair. She's actually meant to be a Pastry Parodyme character so I should probably put this there but there's not much stuff in this section.
Drew this after I found a shiny Shinx in Legends: Arceus I was not expecting to find. He seems to be surprised I found him, too.
Very small Popplio. Love the shape on this one.
I sure wish I had some boss fight music for this magic cat here. The lighting angle on this one was nice, I should do more creative lighting stuff like this.
I wonder just how many Pokemon are shaped like this.
Lillie really hit it out of the park with this name. Like, freaking fan frick yeah that's a nebula baby!!! Face is a bit janky though.
I named my Sprigatito "meow" at first, then "meulin" because that's the weed cat from Homestuck, but I inevitably caved and named him "nepeta" after the Latin word for catnip. It turned out that both would have been apt names, since Floragato is, in some sense, a rogue, and Meowscarada is a mage.
