I tried giving Banana Bread some actual eyes. I kinda like it.
Control center of a facility for growing fungus brains. That's the name of both the facility, and the fungus operating the control center.
I think I mispelled it in the Breadspeak script. Oops.
Epic's signature weapon type is guns. Here's a little he as an example.
He looks a bit too much like he's staring at the viewer but I still love him.
Made for the Christian Tumblr OC Tournament.
Speckled him. In the right image I tried drawing his sign in a way I like more, and also gave him brown feetsies.
I Shinxed Oddity and Hau'oki, they're Shinx now. Oddity has retained his greasy hair and longness, (although I meant to have him be significantly larger in this picture, but I didn't want to redo his whole sketch,) and Hau'oki (now Yuki, actually) her fluffyness and smallitude, but other than that they look quite different now.
You may have noticed that the copyright notice has included Shinx even before I posted any images of him on here. This is because I thought I'd have a finished Shinx Oddity image sooner than this. Whoopsie doodle.
A couple Epic doodles, and a itty bitty Fable, who is not supposed to be here. In two of them, he's wearing a special garment he gets late into the Pastry Parodyme.
On an unrelated note, I know Epic is a Sphagnum Palustre, but I'm not sure what kind of moss Fable is. Then again, florians have nothing to do with Pastry Parodyme mosses, so what Fable is has no affect on what mosses are.
That's the current name I'm using for the solar system the story takes place in. I drew this to be used as the new section thumbnail but it wound up being too big and I could only fit the one planet in. Whoopsie daisy.
Also yes I know the planets would appear much smaller from that far away. No I did not realize that when I was drawing it. This image isn't literally canon and can not be used as evidence for anything other than the fact that I don't understand perspective.
Banana Bread holds a spray can containing 27 points of detriment. This item contains damage he has already taken, but when sprayed onto something, it will take that damage instead. This is effectively a health-stealing attack, but turned upside-down.
Portrait of a charged Epic, now more acquainted with his chargedness. The shock of the lightning strike awoke a supernatural capacity for absorbing energy, allowing him to be recharged if the electricity is expended, but also enabling him to absorb other forms of energy.
After the quadripocalypse gets started, Oddity wound up taking in a little Popplio named Hau'oki and latches onto her like she's the little sister he was always supposed to have. She is not taking the quadripocalypse very well.
I said I would do it. Look at him! He is holding him!! And he is being held!!! They are best friends and they love each other so much and I love them so much!!!!
Tried making Banana Bread look more visually distinct from regular bread. I tried giving him marbled colors, shaping him in a way more like real banana bread is shaped, and covering him in decorative oats. Cool experiment, probably not keeping any of these.
Also seen is a half-burnt bread, a gloomy swordsbread, some old scribbles I've already shared, and a gun.
An idea of what an evolved Oddity could look like. I mostly just intensified his greasy hair and did some weird ruffle frillies that didn't work out.
Yeah I totally made Oddity look like Mattie in this one. Anyway these are the rough relative sizes of less than half the cast of the Pastry Parodyme (there are some others.) You can see that Oddity is huge, Ralsei is tiny, and Epic is also probably huge. This is because it was late and I couldn't be bothered to fix it canon forever.
Since Oddity is my past-future persona, I decided to give him more hair to make him look more like my greasy-headed past self. So for now his defining traits are greasy hair in his eye and a long, lanky body. Wait, that sounds familiar...
All the PYPY guys talking to each other on the computer. Definitely did Ralsei dirty in this one but I totally made up for it with the second drawing I did of him.
He going zappy. I think I'm getting better at drawing his weird body.
Yeah it's Epic again. You can see him trying to sit or lay down in various ways. I think the one where he lowers his whole body into his legs makes the most sense. There are a couple other things here too, like me forgetting how to make his sign look good, or him waving to you.
I saw a creeper drawn all round and fluffy and stuff and I was immediately compelled to spend the rest of that day and the next drawing Epic all round and fluffy and stuff. Look at his little mouth and his huge poofy plant hair.
The other object character in the Pastry Parodyme. The button design has a cooler pose but I think I want the capacitor one has a better shape.
At some point in the Pastry Parodyme, the first half of the main cast gets powered up in various ways. Banana Bread is seen with half his face burnt and his eye turned reflective, Epic is cloaked in electrical energy, and Oddity has changed in shape. Also his eye is a mirror but that's just an experiment.
Objects are always fun to draw, and Banana Bread has some nice colors. I used a new brush for this one.
Tried a different look for his face in this one. Also these colored sketches are really fun, given how much trouble I have with lineart.
New and old patterns for the clown facepaint Oddity has. The old one looked like a mask, which is awesome, but I tried simplifying it on the left since it's hard to actually see it with how dense his face is.
