I was thinking about doing this challenge a little while before, but when the first day of July came around, I just up and started it, with the general goal of having something unique and interesting about each drawing; pose, colors, style, scene, other characters, etc.

I'm a tad pants with drawing cats sitting down so this one took a lot of fumbling to get right

I Forgot the Yellow Stripes on His Ankles Yesterday
The Shinx featured in these drawings was canonically hired as a model for how much he looks like a totally generic Shinx. He doesn't have the ankle stripes but yellow tape is provided to complete the look.

I decided to theme the drawings made on Fridays around fish because of the Catholic practice of abstaining from bird and land animal meat on Fridays. It was a fun running gag and provided drawing ideas for days I may not have had others.

When making this, I made a list of different scene elements I wanted; the crafting table, the chest, etc. It proved a helpful tactic.

(I don't know if cats actually lie on top of each other like this. it made sense to me.)
Generally kept it simple on Sundays, and included some kind of positive message with each one.

also I felt like I should do something Octo Expansion related. because 8. so here's c.q. Shinx telling you that you failed the test
(he can't say real words so you kinda have to guess why you failed)

tried painty real quick
Tried to hold off the Shinx-mania by doing a simple little green-and-blue-hillside painting and throwing a Shinx in at the last moment.
